Geneva: New Humanity Get Ready together with the CINGO Forum in Geneva to the Human Rights Council’s Regular Session
Jorge M. Dias Ferreira, the main Representative of New Humanity in Geneva, actively participated as usual to the monthly meeting of the Catholic Inspired NGOs (CINGO) Forum in Geneva.
In order to prepare the CINGO position for the next Session of the Human Rights Council, at the end of this meeting, New Humanity and the pther Organisation composing the CINGO Forum stated the need to relaunch the Right to Education.
Human Rights Council holds its thirtieth regular session at the Palais des Nations, from 14 September to 2 October 2015. At the end of their monthly meeting, New Humanity and the others Organisations part of the CINGO Forum stated to prepare a document proposing to relaunch the Right to Education. This document has been signed by all of them and will be presented during this Session of the Human Righs Council.
Togehter with the CINGO Forum, New Humanity in Geneva is also preparing the celebrations for the thirtieth anniversary of the Declaration on the Right to Development which has been adopted by the General Assembly by resolution 41/128 of 4 December 1986. New Humanity wishes that this anniversary would be an occasion to relaunch the Right to Development, focused on the search for a social, psychological, spiritual – and not only economical – human wealth.
