A Pathway for Peace and Unity

12.02.2023

New Humanity NGO celebrates the International Day of Human Fraternity recognizing the commitment and the contribution to dialogue of religious leaders and changemakers from all over the world.

“Human beings should act towards each other in a spirit of brotherhood”, according to Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This commitment along the time has involved religious and political leaders, activists, changemakers, regular people that have chosen to make that article a compass of their actions and beliefs.

To honor and to celebrate all the activities aimed at promoting interreligious and  intercultural dialogue in  order to  enhance peace, social  stability,  and respect for  diversity, in 2020, The United Nations General Assembly has proclaimed 4 February as the International Day of Human Fraternity.

In this spirit New Humanity NGO has celebrated this International Day, looking at the many  conflicts and crisis that are affecting many countries and communities, and recognizing the valuable contribution of people of all religions, or beliefs that are actively engaged in building our Human Family at the UNESCO, in Africa, in Argentina, in the Middle East. They are NGOs’ representatives, lawyers, students, scientists, politicians, activists, all together that are ambassadors of Fraternity in their community.

The webinar has featured their stories, their projects, their values.
