São Paulo: the "Civitas Association" promotes a radical change for Latin America

Cambiamento radicale per lAmerica LarinaFrom 17th  to 21st  February 2014 the Brazilian city of São Paulo hosted the seminar "For a radical change in Latin America". The event was held at the University of São Paulo, the Megapolo Brasilero de São Paulo and the Mariapoli Ginetta. It was organized by the  Civitas Association, the Latin American face of the Political Movement for Unity which shares New Humanity's values in the area of politics.

The Let's Bridge Project is now concluding

Tempo di bilanci per il progetto Lets BridgeThese days are the last for the Let's Bridge Project, promoted by New Humanity and co-funded by the European Union as part of the Youth in Action Programme. From 2012 to 2014 it has involved nearly 2,000 youngsters, including 500 from disadvantaged backgrounds - through  Youth Initiatives, Exchanges and Seminars – familiarizing them with the values of a common Europe and establishing a stable European-wide network.

In Jerusalem "Be the Bridge!": N. H. youth's international Forum on universal Fraternity

Be the Bridge 2With 200 New Humanity youngsters (Youth for a United World)  from 20 countries to enliven proceedings, from 24th  April to 1st  May 2013 "Be the Bridge!", the youth workshop for the analysis and promotion of universal fraternity was held in the Holy Land.
The event saw the young participants actively involved in excursions to the most significant places in the Holy Land, in artistic and musical workshops and in moments for reflection on the subject of universal fraternity.

Genoa: Administrators and citizens together, for the common good of their cities

Che sarebbe lItalia senza le città 2"What would Italy be without its cities?" From 30th  November to 2nd  December citizens and representatives of local government examined and debated questions of the common good and of  citizenship.
Among the organizers of the event were: Genoa city council, New Humanity's Italian network, the Movimento Politico per l'Unità (Political Movement for Unity) and the Association of Mayors,  "Città per la Fraternità" (Cities for  Fraternity).

Earthquake in Emilia: solidarity of fishermen in Cesenatico

solidarietà da Cesenatico attraverso la fraternitàIn Cesenatico (an Adriatic seaside town in the province of Forlì-Cesena), just as elsewhere, the earthquake in Emilia found civil society and associations ready and willing to help. In particular, the collaboration between the local branch of New Humanity and the associations "Tra il cielo e il mare" (Between the sky and the sea) and "Gruppo Radar" (Radar Group) has resulted in a fish dinner for about 400 people. Not only was more than 5,000 euros raised and made available for earthquake victims, but the evening also bore special testament to the importance of living together in relations of fraternity.

"Together for Europe": contributions from Christian movements and communities to the Europe of today

Ensemble pr EuropeFor Europe Day, "Together for Europe" brought to Brussels the "Contributions of Christian movements and communities to today’s Europe". 300 movements were represented, with 130 cities involved. At the same time, Teens4Unity promoted Run4Unity, their worldwide relay race. New Humanity was involved in the preparation of both events.
