From 23 to 26 May, the EU citizens are called to elect the new the European Parliament.
In such an important moment for the old continent, the Focolare Movement, of which New Humanity is an expression in international institutions, has launched the "Europe, time for dialogue" campaign to propose the reasons for unity and advance solidarity in the political debate in view of the future of Europe.
On April 9, 2019 the New Humanity delegation in Geneva organized a Conference, together with the other Catholic Inspired NGOs, to present to a group of fifty youngsters of New Humanity from about 20 countries around the world the International System of Human Rights and the role of the Holy See and the Catholic Inspired NGOs at the United Nations in Geneva.
The yearly meeting of the New Humanity central Governing Council and representatives from other countries just ended. It worked on a review of the 2018-2020 strategy and the response that the NGO can offer to meet some of the greatest current challenges in the world, among which: fighting hunger, the migration issue, the engagement of young people and of the African continent.
The Project "Breaking Rays" is completed and it’s the moment to show what the young people involved in the project accomplished.
So far, they put together more than 50 videos to give visibility to the needs of local communities in different areas of the world, in a way that gives space and value to citizens’ participation while developing new professional skills in reporting and sharing news.
